Westerman Lab heads to the Arkansas Entomology Annual Meeting

The Westerman Lab had a strong showing at the Arkansas Entomology Society Annual Meeting Feb 17th at Hobbs State Park. MSc student Nikki Robertson gave an oral presentation on her research on larval imprinting; PhD students Matt Murphy and Grace Hirzel gave poster presentations on global and local patterns of insect visual ecology; and senior undergraduates Peyton Rather and Abby Herzog presented their work on Heliconius learning. Well done all! A special congratulations to Grace Hirzel, who took home second place for poster presentations in the PhD student competition.
