“Engaging the community in pollinator research: the effect of wing pattern and weather on butterfly behavior” published in Integrative and Comparative Biology!

Congratulations to Westerman Lab students Abbigail Merrill, Grace Hirzel, and Matt Murphy on their paper, with Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks Director of Education & Community Outreach Roslyn Imrie.

This paper is 3.5 years of community science work from volunteers at the BGO as well as students in Principles of Zoology and Animal Behavior at the University of Arkansas, examining the relationship between butterfly color and butterfly behavior, in a special issue of ICB on Biology Beyond the Classroom.
