Paper on the evolution of mimicry in butterflies published in Nature Communications

In collaboration with Drs Kronforst, Palmer, Zhang, and Nitzany from the University of Chicago, we studied the evolution of sex limited polymorphism and predator perception of the common Mormon butterfly, Papilio polytes. Check out Tracing the origin and evolution of supergene mimicry in butterflies, published today in Nature Communications.

There is a nice write up of the study in EurekAlert!, which can be accessed here
